As a clinical psychologist for many years, I trained in a variety of approaches to therapy. I found that psychoanalytic therapy and psychoanalysis offer the most benefit and lasting change for persistent emotional, relational, and behavioral problems through opportunity for deep understanding and emotional growth. I therefore undertook rigorous training and study in psychoanalysis through the Psychoanalytic Center of California, where I earned a second doctorate, a Psy.D. in psychoanalysis, and certification by the International Psychoanalytical Association in the provision of psychoanalysis.

While I see people for a wide range of issues and concerns, I also maintain a specialization in treating eating disorders and related problems.

My current and past professional education, training, and activity are summarized below.
